Sphere Group’s management team has proven experience over a 15-year history of delivering developments in the UK’s second city, having secured planning consents for over 5,500 homes. We have 1,250 homes currently on site and under construction including Birmingham’s tallest residential building (One Eastside) and Birmingham’s highest value open market residential for sale development (Edition).

The team has extensive experience meeting needs of institutional funding partners including PGIM Real Estate, which as investment manager of US headquartered Prudential Financial manages $1.34tn as the 11th largest investment manager in the world, Pension Insurance Corporation, a UK specialist insurer of defined benefit pension funds, which has a portfolio value of £50.9bn and Eldridge Capital Management, an asset management and insurance holding company with over $70bn in assets under management.

The team is led by Alex Neale (CEO) and Thomas Taylor (MD) who are both experienced real-estate professionals, with Alex bringing his surveying background at Gleeds and Tom his legal background at Eversheds-Sutherland. Sphere is also supported at board level by Non-Executive Director Rob Bould former Chief Executive of GVA (now Avison Young) who brings a wealth of knowledge and agency experience to the Group.
